As part of its diversification strategy, Marine Instruments began in the aquaculture sector by developing a smart feeding system with acoustic detection. Marine Acoustic System optimizes shrimp growth rate. Since its launch in 2019, the system has been successfully installed in several shrimp farms in Ecuador.
MAS
The smart feeding system, Marine Acoustic System (MAS) is adaptable to most feeders on the market, allowing the traditional feeder to be transformed into smart. The implantation of this system in shrimp ponds highly increases the shrimp growth rate and shortens its production cycle.
This way, we manage to improve the profitability of shrimp ponds by up to 40% and recover the investment in less than two cycles.
MAS is a system designed and manufactured entirely in Spain by Marine Instruments.
