ANACEF and Grupo Arbulu Sign Partnership to Drive Technological Innovation in the Fishing Industry

Marine Instruments, Nautical, and Silecmar, companies of Grupo Arbulu, have signed a collaboration agreement with ANACEF to promote the development and adoption of new technologies aimed at making fishing operations more efficient, safer, and more sustainable.

The agreement was signed by Iñaki Arbulu, Director of Grupo Arbulu, and Francisco Freire Lino, President of ANACEF, during the organization’s 7th Technical Conference, held under the theme “Innovation and Science for the Future of Fishing.”

ANACEF, the Association of Fishing Producers representing owners of freezer vessels specialized in cephalopod fisheries, works to defend the interests of the sector while promoting a competitive and sustainable fishing industry, particularly in the fishing grounds of West Africa.

The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between ANACEF and the three Grupo Arbulu companies to encourage knowledge sharing, identify new opportunities for innovation, and accelerate the adoption of technological solutions tailored to the real needs of the fishing fleet.

Through this partnership, ANACEF and Grupo Arbulu reaffirm their shared commitment to innovation and collaboration as key drivers of the transformation of the fishing industry.
