Marine Instruments, present at AquaExpo 2023 in Guayaquil

From 23 to 26 October, Marine Instruments was once again present at AquaExpo 2023 in Guayaquil (Ecuador), the largest shrimp technical event on the American continent organised by the National Chamber of Aquaculture of Ecuador.

The event, which has been held for more than 20 years in Ecuador, consisted of a trade fair, in which national and international companies participated, and a scientific-technical congress. The congress, which was attended by international researchers and professionals, dealt with topics of interest and importance for the aquaculture sector, mostly related to technological innovation.

Thus, from its own stand, Marine Instruments presented to the attendees the latest developments of the Marine Acoustic Smart System (MASS), an acoustic detection system for intelligent shrimp feeding already deployed in a large part of the country. Of these improvements and achievements, the new acoustics of the hydrophone integrated in the system, which includes an improvement in listening in situations of high aeration of the pools, stands out for example.
