The Kings of Spain present Marine Instruments with the Nacional Innovation Award

Marine Instruments, a world leader in the development and manufacture of technology adapted to the marine environment, has received from the hands of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, the National Innovation Award 2022. The General Manager of Marine Instruments, Gabriel Gomez Celaya, has been in charge of collecting the award that accredits the Galician company as the most innovative in Spain in the category of small and medium enterprises. With this award, Marine Instruments is a clear example of an innovative company that, through the development of knowledge-based technologies, can transform traditional sectors such as fishing.

The company’s CEO has indicated that, “for us, innovation is an attitude, it is critical thinking about how we can do things better. With our investment in R&D, we seek to offer solutions and services with high added value that help our clients to be much more efficient in their activity”.

The awards ceremony was held at the Niemeyer Centre in Avilés and was presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, accompanied by the Minister of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant. In addition to Marine Instruments, Rocío Arroyo and Sacyr were the winners in the Innovation categories, while Inmaculada Bermúdez, Alba González and Enea in the Design categories. Emilio García and Servicios Digitales de Aragón received special mentions. All these professionals and companies have been awarded for making innovation and/or design fundamental tools in the development of their strategy and business growth.
