We are world leaders in the development and manufacture of electronic equipment adapted to the marine environment and focused on promoting smart oceans and sustainable fishing. We are a company focused on innovation with an excellent positioning in the fishing sector thanks to being part of Arbulu Group, a group of companies specialized in naval electronics and satellite communications. In recent years and thanks to a strong diversification strategy, we have entered other vertical markets, such as Aquaculture or Security and Defence.
Since our beginnings in 2003, we have experienced constant growth, positioning ourselves, in less than a decade, as the leading manufacturer of satellite tuna buoys worldwide, with a presence in more than 30 countries.
At Marine Instruments we are committed to the protection and conservation of the oceans through the responsible and sustainable management of natural resources. Our commitment extends to many of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set in the 2030 agenda, aware that they are all interrelated and that to cover the three dimensions of sustainable development (economic growth, social inclusion and protection of the environment) it is necessary to keep all of them in mind. QUALITY
Quality and innovation are the cornerstones of our business and we build our work around them to develop useful technology solutions tailored to the market and customer needs. For this purpose, we have a large R&D team that works in the continuous improvement of our products and the development of innovative solutions as a daily basis.
We are highly committed to innovation in all our processes. That is why their production process will always take place in-house, without outsourcing any production process and reducing to the minimum the enviromental impact. Furthermore, this enables an ongoing communication between departments, the daily improvement of our products and the development of the best solutions for our clients. That is why we use the latest technology to test our equipment, applying strict quality controls and checking the correct operation of each of the pieces as well as the finished product.
Our commitment to customers is constant. We work together in developing and improving our products based on their specific needs, guaranteeing robust, reliable and high tech equipment. This also allows us to anticipate ourselves to the market needs and maintain our leadership position.
CERTIFICATES
To reduce the environmental impact of our products while maintaining their quality and effectiveness as much as possible, we manufacture using a high percentage of recyclable materials. If we want more information, we have environmental sheets available to our clients.
The company has an Integrated Management System, for which it has been certified with the ISO 9001 quality standard since 2009 and the ISO 14001 environmental management standard since 2011.
In addition, since 2022, the company has an Information Security Management System (ISMS) certified with ISO 27001, in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company’s information.
IGAPE SUPPORT
This company participates in an internationalisation project through the IGAPE programme. The main objective of these grants is to encourage and stimulate Galician foreign trade and the internationalisation of Galician non-SME companies. The intended result is to increase the base of exporting companies and to consolidate the presence of Galician companies in international markets.
XUNTA DE GALICIA GRANTS
Marine Instruments participates in the Xunta de Galicia grant programme aimed at strengthening the position of Galician companies as suppliers in the security and defence sector.
As part of this initiative, the Galician company is carrying out actions aimed at implementing a quality management system in accordance with PECAL/AQAP standards and obtaining system or product certification, thereby strengthening its capabilities and position in the security and defence sector.

Marine Instruments has joined as a sponsor of the Centenary of the Buque Escuela Juan Sebastián de Elcano, a commemoration declared an Event of Exceptional Public Interest, which will be celebrated between 2027 and 2028, coinciding with the one hundredth anniversary of the launch of the emblematic training ship of the Spanish Navy. Marine Instruments' participation in the official Centenary program represents a further step in the close relationship the company maintains with the Navy, the result of several years of technological collaboration in the development and validation of advanced capabilities for maritime surveillance, intelligence, autonomous systems, and dual-use technologies.
